An invitation to an upcoming Croydon Neighbourhood Watch event
You are invited to the following event, open to members and non-members:
CROYDON BOROUGH NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH ASSOCIATION – CRIME PREVENTION DAY/AGM
Saturday 6th November 2021 – 9am to 3pm
Royal Russell School
Coombe Lane, Croydon, CR9 5BX (in the Auditorium)
Registration opens from 9am, the event will be opened by the Mayor of Croydon at 9.30am promptly (please do not arrive earlier than 9am or wander the school premises).
The conference (which includes our AGM from 3pm for members only) will give you the opportunity to meet CBNWA coordinators, listen to some excellent presentations from our guest speakers, ask questions and enjoy lunch. There will also be a raffle and a Q&A session. Guest speakers include Steve Phaure from CVA, Chief Inspector Craig Knight, Trish Burls from Trading Standards, Sharon Kilborne on Hate Crime Awareness and Haydar Muntadhor on Radicalization & Extremism plus others to be advised.
Ample parking is available on site. The school is a 5 min walk from the ‘Coombe Lane’ tram stop on the line to New Addington.
Cost: £10 per person*
Including tea & coffee and lunch served in the school canteen
*Please note that this price also includes a contribution towards the CBNWA charity. Should you not wish to join us for lunch we would ask that you kindly pay a donation on the day towards tea & coffee instead, but please note that you are unable to bring you own food onto the school site (school policy) or wander the premises.

Panel Q&A – open discussion
Please feel free to email any questions you would like to put to CBNWA committee member John Gilhooly, Inspector Cathy Thomas and Inspector James Weston (SNT) in advance to nhw@cbnwa.com by Thursday 21st October. There will also be the opportunity to submit these on arrival during registration on the day. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at this special event!
