June 15th 7.30pm 2021 PWRA Annual General Meeting will be held on Zoom – details inside

An example of a Zoom call – you don’t need to have a camera to participate!

Upcoming 2021 AGM meeting will be on ZOOM

PWRA will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tues June 15th 2021 7.30pm on Zoom.

We are doing this as the membership is unable to safely meet in-person due to the current public health crisis and therefore this is the next best option.

We understand that not all members will be able to use Zoom, but with this warning you’ll be able to download it in time and even practice a Zoom call with friends/family before June 15th!

What is Zoom?

Zoom is a video conferencing service you can use to virtually meet with others – either by video or audio-only.

You can join a Zoom meeting via any PC/Mac, smartphone or tablet etc with speakers, microphone and a camera, so long as you have reliable internet access. You’re recommended to join via a PC/Mac if possible because more functions are readily accessible, such as raising a virtual hand if you wish to ask a question. You can also join in if your device does not have a camera, but other participants obviously won’t be able to see you.

It is very simple to set up – and will only take you a few seconds to setup – but you have to follow the instructions carefully. Have a practice days beforehand, don’t wait until the big night to download Zoom.
